New Sales Manager appointed [August 2011]

Data Centre Specialist [June 2011]
Bob Allen (C-IP Director) has successfully completed the Certified Data Centre Design Professional qualification to complement his existing RCDD qualification. The CDCDP brings together the essential components of proficiency to independently certify that an individual is a highly skilled and knowledgeable industry professional. The qualification validates the individual’s ability and knowledge in standards, compliance and the application of global best practices in the design, creation and management of preeminent data centres.”
New Operations Appointment [February 2011]
Following a fantastic start to 2011 with a number of key project 'wins', Connect-IP have again bolstered the Project Management team with the key appointment of a Senior Project Manager. Jon Mowberry brings vast experience in major projects delivery, especially in the Retail sector, and will be responsible for a number of the recently secured contracts.
Jon commented 'to be joining a company who are securing new projects and delivering growth in this tough economic climate is a very exciting prospect and I'm relishing the challenge. Connect-IP further enhance Health and Safety Credentials with SAFEcontractor [November 2010]
Connect-IP are pleased to announce they have achieved the SAFEcontractor accreditation.
SAFEcontractor is a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst UK contractors and when coupled with the ongoing CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) Accreditation confirms Connect-IP as being a company leading the way in Health and Safety.
Mark Richardson, Director at Connect-IP said, “Under the SAFEcontractor system, businesses undergo a vetting process, which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Only those companies meeting the high standards are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users only via a website, www.safecontractor.com”.
SAFEcontractor accreditation is expected to further enhance the company’s ability to attract new contracts and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.
John Kinge, Head of Risk at SAFEcontractor said, “Major organisations can no longer run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Connect-IP has done. Connect-IP enhances Historic School's Security [October 2010]
A historic West Yorkshire school has continued its transformation into a 21st century facility thanks to the expertise of Connect-IP.
The Brooksbank School Sports College on Victoria Road in Elland has been working during the summer to improve its access control systems to prevent unauthorised entry into the campus for the start of the new school term.
More than 1,600 students attend Brooksbank, along with 110 teaching staff and a further 100 support staff. The new system, installed by Connect-IP from Sheffield, includes eight new access controls to the outer entrances of the large campus.
It is the first school building project for Connect-IP, which is looking at the education market to showcase their expertise in IT cabling infrastructure and surveillance equipment.
Mark Richardson, director at Connect-IP, said: “Every school must assess the usefulness of its security systems, whether it is a new build or an old one. Brooksbank was suffering real frustration with their existing access control system it was too rigid and inflexible.
Jane Blackburn, school administrator at Brooksbank School, added: “As with all large scale public buildings controlling access is the upmost importance and through the support of Connect-IP, we now have the technology to provide a modern facility to both students and teachers.
Staff and sixth formers will be provided with access swipe cards which double up as identity badges to allow them entry to any area of the school.
